2024 Confirmation Class

Pre-confirmation is for students in 5th and 6th grade.  This is a two-year program focusing on the Old Testament and what it means to be a Lutheran.  

• For the 5th graders in the program, they will receive their First Communion on the first Sunday in February.  
• Pre-confirmation classes meet each Wednesday afternoon during the school year from 4:00-5:00 pm.

Confirmation is for students in 7th and 8th grade.  This is a two-year program after pre-confirmation.  The main focus is the New Testament and the Small Catechism.  

• Our 8th graders are confirmed two Sundays after Easter.  
• Confirmation classes meet each Wednesday afternoon during the school year from 5:00-6:00 pm. 

Confirmation is about the love of God.  Each and every one of us is considered a “passer-on” of faith, and we are never too young or too old to do that.  Our 5th-8th graders are discussing and answering questions that will change the world.  Dr. Reggie Blount has a great quote worth remembering: “I learned that God loved me through the people that loved me!”
